District is billed once a year: one invoice, one renewal date. Buying for one building? Take the School plan. The district rate starts at 2 schools.

What the other one costs

The leading tool publishes $1,000 a year for a school under 700 students.

Cubby is $490, which is $510 less for a school that size. That's the whole comparison. They've been at this longer and they cover districts many times your size. Need a purchasing checklist rather than a device rotation? Buy theirs. Cubby is narrower on purpose.

Money questions

The questions the business office asks.

What happens when the 30 days are up?

Cubby goes read only. Everything you entered is still sitting there and still exports to CSV; what stops is issuing, returning, logging incidents and advancing the year. Nothing is deleted, so pick a plan a month later and you land where you left off.

Do I need a card to start the trial?

No. An email address and the name of your school, and that's the whole of it. Do nothing at the end and the trial stops on its own.

Can we pay by purchase order?

Yes, on District and Enterprise. Send the PO number and the office to bill, and you get an invoice instead of a card charge. School is card only, because chasing a $490 invoice costs more than the invoice.

What happens to our data if we leave?

You take it with you. Every list exports to CSV while the account is open, device history and charges included. Ask us to delete the account and we delete it; otherwise it sits there, never sold and never shared.

Is there a per student or per device charge?

No. One price for the school, ninety Chromebooks or nine hundred. The 750 student figure is what Cubby is built and tested for, not a meter. Bigger than that? Talk to us first.

What if a payment fails during collection week?

Cubby stays open. The week you most need the return screen is not the week to take it away over a card that expired in May. You get an email, and the business office has time to sort it.

Bring in your device list, hand out a few machines, run a pretend June. No card, and nothing charges itself when the trial runs out.
